More Summer Flowers

I started this series of flowers earlier this year…inspired by Matisse and his love of color. I keep revisiting this style, because they are so much fun to work on.

Five Flowers – 5 x 7 inch acrylic painting on stretched canvas (sides are painted too!)

I don’t often paint on these chunky canvases, but sometimes it is fun to paint around the edges.

And of course, I can never just stop at one…kind of like those addicting potato chips!

You will notice I did do my little splashy dots on these two paintings as well.

Both of these colorful still life paintings are now available to brighten up your home. You can get to my Etsy art shop, by clicking here.

I have completed 27 paintings so far in September…only three more to go to make my goal! You know what I will be doing the next couple days!
